Artificers adventure for a number of factors. They look for deposits of rare minerals and dragonshards to use within their creations. They look forIf you need to do go with a Barbarian/Artificer, it's possible you'll obtain Rage interfering with your infusions/magic items. There isn't any Formal way around this, but you may perhaps question your DM
